Kelly and Marc Wedding

It was a family affair. Kelly and Marc were married last Saturday at a beautiful indoor ceremony, uniting their two families, at La Provence in Roseville. The event manager at La Provence was Raquel Mostajo, she was very professional and the ceremony and reception both ran smoothly. Their many friends witnessed the ceremony, officiated by Lori Levisen, and joined in the celebrations at the reception. The food was superb, the toasts were from the heart (well done Jack), and the tunes and lighting were outstanding, provided by Jordon at J Crew Productions. Kelly and Marc are so nice, and a joy to work with. I wish them and their family all the very best! Thank you for choosing me as your photographer!
Below is a preview of a few selected favorite images, while I continue to process the many photos taken on their special day. ALL the photos will be available for viewing online at Pictage.com in about 10 days or so.

Amanda & Chris - Trash the Dress in Mexico

The day after Amanda and Chris' wedding we met just before sunset for a "trash the dress" session. We first started at the main pool at Mazatlan's El Cid resort on top of the waterfall, which at the time was turned off, so I took a couple of nice reflection shots. From there we headed to the beach and the bridesmaids and groomsmen came along as well, in their wedding attire, too. Soon everyone was wading into the water and the romp was on! A nice little crowd of spectators gathered to watch the action as well. Amanda's brothers girlfriend, Celeste, was very gracious to help me out by holding my off camera flash, using radio poppers, for use in many of the shots. After everyone was soaked in the ocean we trekked back to the pool and the resort management was very nice and turned on the waterfall for a few more pics jumping off into the pool. All very, very fun! The waves splashed my shorts a bit but I managed to keep my cameras dry.
We then finished off the session with shots of te-kill-ya. Yes!
