Amanda and Chris,.. the day before

I met Amanda and Chris today at their wedding rehearsal on the beach at the El Cid resort, here in Mazatlan, along with Amanda’s mom and dad and members of the wedding party. What a fun loving, enjoyable couple! We took a few shots after the rehearsal and will post some below. Can’t wait for the big day tomorrow!

Samantha and Kevin's Destination Wedding

On the 13th my nephew, Kevin, and his beautiful fiance, Samantha, were married at Harvey's cute little chapel in South Lake Tahoe. Fortunately the gloomy forecast for a lot of snow that day didn't pan out and we were able to get there OK. Samantha and Kevin are living in Eureka, CA and had left there the day after they were rattled by the 6.5 earthquake there, which was 2 days before the Haiti earthquake. Had a fun time meeting Samantha and her family (from Arizona) and Kevins friends for the first time. My daughter, Jula, gave me a helping hand and some of her photos are also posted below. Good job, Jula! After the wedding we went outside on the 3rd level swimming pool deck and got a few shots, .. a little cool for a wedding dress but Samantha was brave. Even got a couple of fun shots in the weight room!
The reception was held across the street at Harrah's Casino. Jula had fun taking pictures of almost everyone at the reception, including me, stuffing food in their mouths. Well, she's 13, that's what kids her age like to do! Everyone had a great time, and it's nice to have a new member in the family! I'll send ALL the photos to Pictage, and they will be posted online for everyone to see, when I return from Mexico. No snow here!

Oh yes, Mazatlan!

Love the warm weather here in Mazatlan and the smell of the ocean! Arrived last Monday and it's been gorgeous here every day. Not so back in N. Calif., raining every day since I left, even a little snow last night in Grass Valley. I've been relaxing, playing some table tennis and doing work from here and will be shooting Amanda and Chris's destination wedding on Tues. They are arriving from Canada tomorrow. Excited to meet them and looking forward to getting some great photos at their wedding. The last couple of days I went out and took a few pics, so I'll post a few of those below.
