Shalene and Joe Engagement

Wow! Shalene and Joe are getting married next weekend in Sacramento, so last minute effort to shoot their engagement session and get them their photos to use on their programs. We met at the beautiful and historic Placer County Courthouse in Auburn late in the evening and the light was perfect. We caught the sunset and afterwards the lights of the building came on to give an orange glow to the photos. Very nice!
Fun couple, .... Joe mastered "the dip". Looking forward their wedding next weekend at Frasinetti's Winery in Sacramento! Always love going to a venue new to me.

Stevie and Lyle Wedding

Sunday, May 17th was hot, over 100 degrees, and I had a HOT bride and groom to photograph in Folsom, CA.! Stevie and Lyle were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Lake Natomas Inn attended by a large number of family and friends. What an awesome, fun, couple. We had so much fun shooting the group and fun poses after the ceremony with their families and the bridal party. Sorena was a great help as assistant/2nd shooter and 3 of the photos posted below were taken by her.
At the reception I had the pleasant surprise of finding Travis and Lorie of DJ Eight Track there providing the DJ services. It was the first time that I had seen them since photographing their wedding in Auburn 1 year ago. They did an outstanding job! The music was great, the food was yummy, the toasts were emotional and funny, and all had a fun time celebrating their special day! Love it!

Jenifer and Ron's Wedding

May 16th of every year is the date that Ron must make sure to remember from now on. He and Jenifer came up from Half Moon Bay to be married in a beautiful ceremony overlooking Lake Wildwood at the brand new Lake Wildwood Community Center. So new, in fact, that their wedding was the first to be held there! Bob Couper of Grass Valley did an excellent job on the keyboards during ceremony and reception and Antonio Ayestaran catered the delicious food.
Jenifer and Ron had a moving and tender ceremony. It's always a joy to see couples so much in love celebrating their special day with friends and family.
