Lisa and Doug Engagement Photo Session

Boy, it's like summer already! Yesterday I met up with Lisa and Doug at Pioneer Park in Nevada City for their engagement session. We had a good time with the photo shoot on a beautiful warm day. They will be getting married at Empire Mine State Park in June and the roses will be blooming! Beautiful venue for a wedding!
Lisa and Doug got into the spirit of the session quickly and we worked our way around to different neat little spots that the park offers for backdrops: big trees, big rocks, cool bridge and creek and open grassy area. Also, there was a guy at the park that was very good at balancing and twirling a "stick" with two other sticks, and he was nice enough to let Doug and I try it, so I got a few photos of that as well.
